The 86BGH transmitter works with both Ditch Witch® and Subsite® Tracker 750 and Tracker 752. It performs well in different conditions and can track shallow or deep bores. The beacon works at 29kHz frequency by sending beacon data to a locating system and the remote display typically mounted on the drilling drill. Tracker 750/752 can be also used to locate underground communication lines and cables.

PilotTrack beacon 86BGH provides a variety of information to assist drillers during a bore. Information may vary depending on the locator or beacon mode you are using. Typical data sent from the transmitter includes temperature, roll, depth, pitch, and battery life.

For more modern locating systems like TK Series and Recon Series, we also offer comptatible 17T4G beacon, which features four frequencies and BlueTooth® functionality.

You must calibrate the locating system to beacon frequency before starting a boring job. Do not move the transmitter or locator until calibration is complete. Large metal objects like rebar, power lines, and structures may affect calibration and operation.
